![]() Entertainment in Harlowton is as varied as the residents and visitors who perform in our equally varied venues. The Jawbone Players perform in midwinter, often a comedy, to the delight of smiling crowds. Last year's offering was "Death by Chocolate" on Valentine's Day. The annual Kiwanis (formerly Minstrel) Show, which occurs in the early spring, goes back over 50 years and spotlights the musical talents of singles and chorus. The Musselshell Mudcats perform prior to the show, at intermission, and on special occasions. The Wheatland County Fair & Festival has been topped off in recent years by professional talents in the likes of Wylie and the Wild West, Jason DeShaw and the Country Way, and Patricia Ryan and Dakota Country. The Harlowton High School School-to-Work Program presents recently released movies every other weekend at the Harlo Theater. The theater also hosts a range of local and visiting stage programs. |
